PET CARE

*** NOTICE REGARDING COVID-19 ***

UPDATED: Saturday, April 4th 2020

At Bayview Hill Animal Hospital, the well-being of our patients, staff and community is of paramount importance.

At this time we will be changing our business hours for veterinary services to the following:

Mon-Fri     9:00a - 6:00p

Sat             8:00a - 4:00p

Sun               CLOSED

Grooming and boarding will no longer be available until further notice.

During this time, we are implementing the following changes:

  1. We are working by appointment only and for urgent services only. Urgent services include those required to alleviate animal pain and suffering, to prevent imminent threat of death of the animal, vaccinations when risk cannot be appropriately managed, food sales, medication refills and heartworm/flea/tick preventatives.

  2. Clinic access is restricted to Bayview Hill Animal Hospital staff only. Please call us from your vehicle upon arrival and remain in your vehicle for your pets' appointment and for food/medication pick-up. We will check you in over the phone and instruct you on how we will transport your pet into and out of our clinic. Please have your pet on a leash or in a carrier.

  3. We are only accepting credit or debit transactions as payment for all services. Payment will be done over the phone. Please call ahead to order food and medication refills when running low as shipping time will be prolonged during these times.

  4. Offering alternative arrangements for your pets’ needs.  Please let us know If you or anyone you have been in close contact with has been tested/confirmed/suspected for COVID-19, out of the country in the past 14 days or are experiencing ANY of the following symptoms: fever, cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing. Arrangements will include having someone else bring your pet(s) to their appointment/pick up food/medication or rescheduling your appointment for a later date.

At this time, there is no evidence that companion animals, such as dogs and cats, can be a source of or spread COVID-19 to people. We will keep you updated on the situation as it develops regarding our pets as our understanding increases.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding while we maintain our high standards for health and safety of our clients and your Bayview Hill Animal Hospital team.
